Green Lipped Mussel
YuMOVE Joint Care is powered by our very own unique and sustainably sourced ActivEase® Green Lipped Mussel which provides a unique combination of Omega-3 fatty acids to help soothe stiff joints. When your dog or cat starts taking YuMOVE Joint Care, the Omega-3’s begin to accumulate in the cell membranes, and they can get to work soothing joint stiffness.
Hyaluronic acid
Inside your pet’s joints, there is a viscous substance called synovial fluid that works to cushion and lubricate the joint. Hyaluronic Acid is a major part of the synovial fluid.
There is a constant turnover of Hyaluronic Acid in your pet’s body, but the concentration of Hyaluronic Acid reduces with joint stiffness and as our cats and dogs get older. The Hyaluronic Acid present in YuMOVE Joint Care helps to cushion and lubricate the joints.
Glucosamine
Glucosamine provides the major building blocks of cartilage – the tough connective tissue that protects the joint.
Manganese
Manganese is an element that supports collagen formation in the cartilage, tendons, and ligaments, which is why it’s included in our Joint Care supplements.
To be more technical, Manganese is an essential trace element which plays a role in the formation of GAGs (building blocks of cartilage) and is a cofactor for enzymes that are involved in the formation of collagen.
Vitamins C and E
