My dog is a fussy eater - how easy are the tablets to give?

If your dog doesn’t take tablets easily, you can either break them into smaller pieces or crush them completely and mix them with your pet's food. Some owners also find hiding the tablets in a small amount of food can help. If you still have no luck, our popular PLUS One-A-Day Bites are a great option for fussy eaters. 

Do YuMOVE Joint Support PLUS tablets have a strong smell or taste?

The tablets have a natural fish smell and taste from their active ingredients.

Is YuMOVE Joint Support PLUS suitable for dogs with allergies or dietary restrictions?

YuMOVE Joint Support PLUS tablets are not suitable for dogs with fish or shellfish allergies. Please check the ingredients list before feeding, especially if your dog has known allergies or dietary needs. If you’re unsure, speak to your vet or contact our Customer Care Team.

My dog is younger than the recommended age range for this product (2-7 years), will it be too strong?

All products in the YuMOVE Joint Support range are suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age. If you think your younger dog needs extra joint support, YuMOVE Joint Support PLUS and PLUS Max are both great options.  

If you’re simply looking to be proactive about joint support, or have a very active dog, YuMOVE Joint Support PLUS offers a higher level of support than our Adult and Young & Active formulas. 

Why do I need to give my dog double the recommended daily amount at the start?

Giving your dog double the recommended daily allowance when they first start taking YuMOVE Joint Support helps the active ingredients in our supplements build up in the joints and get to work quickly. 

While it may be tempting to try to make your supplements stretch, skipping this important preparation phase means your dog might not enjoy the same benefits they potentially could. 

You should feed your dog double the recommended daily amount for the first month: 

  • If your dog is new to YuMOVE Joint Support 
  • If you’ve switched to YuMOVE from another brand 
  • Even if you have a small dog 

If your dog is already taking a daily YuMOVE supplement and is moving to a stronger formula, there’s no need to double up. 

Does it matter if I skip days?

Put simply, yes. Skipping days or being inconsistent with feeding can undo a lot of the benefits your pet might otherwise enjoy. 

If you follow the recommendation for how often and how much you should give your pet, you can expect to see the best results.

Can your products be used with prescription-only medicines?

You can use our supplements with most prescription-only medicines. Please check with your vet or contact our Customer Care Team if you have any specific questions.

Glucosamine

Plant-based Glucosamine is a natural powerhouse that helps supply nutrients found in healthy joint structures to keep cartilage healthy and flexible, giving your pet the joint support they need to keep moving and doing what they love.

Manganese

Manganese might not steal the spotlight, but it’s a star behind the scenes. This essential trace element supports the formation of GAGs, the building blocks of cartilage, and plays a key role in collagen production. Imagine it as – the scaffolding that helps maintain strong, healthy joints, so your pet can leap, run and snooze in comfort.

Hyaluronic Acid
