rePurpose Global

Fighting Plastic Waste & Changing Lives

Every hour, over 65 million pounds of plastic are produced, and by 2050, there could be more plastic in our oceans than fish. As part of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, we’ve partnered with rePurpose Global for three years to address this critical issue.

While we work to reduce our plastic packaging, we also support rePurpose Global’s mission to establish waste management systems in underserved communities in the Global South. Their efforts recover low-value plastics, create safer jobs, improve working conditions, and empower communities.

Recently, two of our staff members visited a rePurpose plastic recovery project in India, and the video below highlights some key moments from their trip. Together, we can drive positive global change and build a more sustainable future.

Support Dogs

Life-Changing Support for Those in Need

Support Dogs trains specialist assistance dogs for people with autism, epilepsy, and physical disabilities, transforming lives with safety, independence, and support. Despite delivering 700,000 hours of help and saving the NHS £19 million annually, they receive no government funding and rely solely on donations.

YuMOVE is proud to sponsor a puppy to help train a future assistance dog. We’ll soon be able to follow our puppy’s journey and learn all about our new friend - stay tuned!

Pets As Therapy

Bringing Comfort Through Companionship

Pets As Therapy brings comfort, joy and companionship to individuals in hospitals, care homes, schools and more, through visits from volunteers and their gentle pets. These visits help improve mental and emotional wellbeing for those in need. We’re proud to partner with Pets As Therapy (PAT), a charity dedicated to spreading the companionship of pets across the UK. Our financial pledge will fund 16,666 visits, supporting volunteers and their pets as they bring joy to those who need it most.

With 4,500 volunteers visiting over 5,200 places, PAT brings comfort, lifts spirits and helps people feel less alone, supporting their mental health and recovery.
